Tummy Time
So, whenever I try to get Abraham to have tummy time, he turns his head to the side, and stares at me like this. I don't think he is interested. If I leave him there for more than a minute he falls to pieces. On his back he plays great. Even sitting up, GREAT! On his tummy no way... maybe I should stop trying to force him.... but he is still adorable even if he won't play on his tummy.

I love this look..it's like," are you kidding me?"

Bath Time Boy

I think A.J. looks so much like me in these pictures. While I was giving him a bath the other night, he was staring at me, and all I could see was myself...is that a weird Mom moment or what? It was like looking at my very own baby pictures. Now, a lot of people tell us they see me in him, but most of the time, I see only Nick. So I had to get the camera and document this momentous occasion...at least it was for me.

One more reason to be here
" May I ask that you join the conversation by participating on the Internet, particularly the New Media, to share the gospel and to explain in simple, clear terms the message of the Restoration. Most of you already know that if you have access to the Internet you can start a blog in minutes and begin sharing what you know to be true...perhaps now, more than ever, we have a major responsibility as Latter-day Saints to define ourselves, instead of letting others define us."
-Elder M. Russell Ballard
Thanks to Karen for sharing this quote...I hope we all will take these words to heart, and not be afraid to show the world who we are.
Love, Tallie
Blessing Day
On January 6th, 2008 we took Abe to church to give him a name and a blessing. It was a great experience for our family. Unfortunately we arrived a little late, and weren't able to sit with any of our family, as there were 3 baby blessings that day! The place was packed! We did manage to find a seat at least, behind my parents
Nick did a great job, despite the fact that he was very nervous. It was nice to have the whole fam at church too... it had been awhile. I hope everyone who came enjoyed it as much as I did! These are some pictures from after.

Palmer family heirloom you might say....

Christmas 2007
Christmas morning with Abe.... I don't think he was too impressed

At the festivities with Dad, and all Sacked out after all the fun....we call him our drunken Santa.
We had an awesome Christmas this year! As always we were at both of our families, both nights... pretty intense...(and for the next three days Abe and I couldn't go anywhere to make up for so much excitement). With so much going on, and having A.J. with us, we decided to forgo our usual tradition of going to the movies Christmas afternoon. It was a sad realization that that tradition will have to be put on hold for a few years, when our kids are old enough to enjoy it. We had plenty of gifts, and alot of love. I think our biggest gift this year was having our little guy here to share it with. He was so much fun, even if he had no idea what was going on! He makes every day more enjoyable, and I love being his mom...(cry). Ok, enough sap.
later dudes
Friends out to lunch
