Hip Hip Hooray!

Today I was told that I can stop the bed rest! I am so excited! The Dr. told us that it was a blood clot behind the placenta and it looked like it was getting smaller. I can be off pelvic, and bed rest as long as I have/had no visible bleeding for 2 weeks. Well, 2 weeks was yesterday! So Hooray! We have an ultrasound tomorrow, to get a good look at the blod clot, and make sure it is still getting smaller, but things are starting to look up for us! Thank you so much for all of your support and prayers! You are awesome!
LOVE YOU TONS!

Crappy week...

Literally.
I have been having "going" problems. I just can't seem to get things moving. Sunday it decided to come all at once. And after a terrible night of the worst stomach cramps, and bloody bm's, I ended up in the ER monday morning. They took some blood, gave me an IV, and filled me full of fluids. After 3 hours, and no more poo, they sent me home and told me to take it easy. They just think I irrateded my bowels by going too much all at once. Since then I'm still having cramps, but haven't gone...I'm scared of what will happen when I do go...

Just another new problem in this pregnancy...

Update

Since I had my Dr.'s appointment on Thursday, I thought I should let you know what's up. Sadly, No change. I am not bleeding, or spotting anymore, but my uteris is....whatever that means. I still have to stay down, and full pelvic rest, untill I get to go back to the Dr. on the 23rd. So lets pray that I get good news then!
Thanks for all your support! It's really made this whole thing easier! I don't know what I would do without my friends and family!

Jinxed It

I feel that I may have jinxed myself.

Nick and I were so excited after our first appointment. We saw the baby, we heard a heartbeat....We felt we could let all our friends in on our secret.
Well, Tuesday(the day after I posted) I started bleeding. We went to the Dr. right away, and they did an ultrasound for us. Baby is still fine...BUT... I have some uterine bleeding. I was put on full pelvic rest, and told to "stay down" as much as possible.
My mom was so nice to me, and took Abe and I to her house yesterday for the day, and today, my sister-in-law, Cynthia, took Abe so I can have the day to rest. I am so grateful for my wonderful family that is taking such good care of us! We are truly blessed!

Please keep us in your prayers....We sooo want to bring our little one home in June.

Our Last Day

Our Last Day on our Trip to See the Lewis Family Gretchen took us to the Oakland Temple! It was so Beautiful! I loved the veiw, and the fact that you can walk around on the roof of the temple! SO AWESOME!

Abe at the Temple
A wonderful veiw of the spires
From the roof, looking at the gardens
The whole group at the Visitors Center

Then it was time to say goodbye, and Abe and I got to go on a little adventure of our very own.
Here is Abe at the Oakland Airport waiting for our plane.
Despite all my worries, Abe was GREAT!!! The plane (luckily) wasn't full, so even though Abe was supposed to be a lap child, he got his own seat! This was most likely the last time Abe will fly for free... sad thought!
Cute Boy! Waiting for take off!
Trying to get a picture of the two of us! LOL!!
We loved our Trip!! Every minute of it, and we can't wait to go visit them again!!
We love you Gretchen and Mark! And little Hank too!

Monday night we went into the City! We rode BART, ( Bay ARea Transit), and Abe LOVED IT!
Mom and Abe on the Train!
Gretch and Hank on the Train!
We didn't do much as it was late, but we did eat yummy chowder, and got to see the seals!
Abe wasn't too interested in them, but at least he took a peek at them!

Mom and Abe infront of Alcatraz!
We had to walk about a mile to and from Bart to peir 39,
so on the way back we took a picture in front of the Coit Tower.
We had a good time, so we decided to go back to San Francisco in the morning!

Side Note

We were supposed to leave friday the 21st, but when we got up that morning, this is how Abe looked. We went to the Dr. as soon as they opened. Aparantly Abe had an alergic reaction to something. We don't know what, but we are suspecting either Honey, or Squash, (the two things he ate out of the ordinary) and we have eliminated nuts for awhile, just to be on the safe side. The Dr. gave him some Zyrtec, and said we were safe to travel, and to call him if the rash didn't go away by the time we got back. Thankfully it was completely gone the next morning, so we decided we could go!

We Went To California!

My sister Gretchen and her family came out for Hugh's wedding, but her husband had to fly back for work before she was ready to leave. So, on August 22, Abe and I drove the 13 hours to San Leandro, California with Gretchen and her little guy Hank! I didn't get any pics of the ride out there....(you wouldn't have wanted to see them anyway!)

Abe got sick

The week after the reunion, we went to Bear Lake, (with no pics) for the day! It was so much fun, but Abe came home with Herpingina, which is sores of the mouth. Terrible, I know. He was such a trooper. He broke out in a rash too, on day 2. Here are some pics...enjoy.
Do you see the rash on his face? All around his mouth...so sad!

Palmer Family Reunion 2009

As always, we had our Palmer Family Reunion over the 24th of July this year. It was alot of fun. Everyone was there except Nick's oldest brother and his family. They were greatly missed, but even with out them, we managed to still have a good time!

We had pools, and a slip-n-slide!
Nick even instigated a water fight that would make Ellen proud!
We had our service project...
The men helped Craig clean out his metal pile in the back,
and the ladies tended to the flower garden out front!
We had a potatoe Derby at Hollie and Rods! Nick was among the winners!

It was a great time, and we can't wait to do it all again next year!
