I was tagged

What were you doing 10 years ago?
I was 15, enjoying my sophmore year, dating before I was supposed too, and looking forward to turning 16. I was in the play Peter Pan...as a tree...ok all of you may laugh now!

5 Things on my to do list today:
1. Go shopping with my Mom
2. Try and make Abe take a good nap.
3. go walking if it isn't freezing outside
4. Clean my house
5. laundry

3 Bad Habits
1. worrying about everything, seriously bad anxiety....and some of it doesn't even include me.
2. I tap my fingernails on my teeth...it's kinda annoying to Nick.
3. Buying stuff for me, Nick, Abe, whoever...especially if its a deal.

If I were suddenly a billionaire?
Well, I would first do the obvious, Pay tithing. Then pay off house, car, credit cards, and be debt free. Then I would remodel my house, to be everything I want it to be. Put aside money for more kids...incuding missions, college, weddings. I am sure we would put some aside for retirement. maybe even set up some sort of monthly allowence for us to just spend. Then we would see what we could do for our family, and friends.
wow...I got kinda excited thinking about that...like what if it really happened...

4 Places I have lived:
I don't think I can only do four... so lets start at the top....Akron Ohio, Conneticut, New Hampshire, Kearns, Suffield Ohio, Saudi Arabia, Provo, South East Orem, South west Orem, North west Orem, Alaska, Las Vegas North east Orem, and back to the good ole South East Orem :)

5 Jobs I have had:
1. Arby's
2. Classic Skating
3. Alaska Shirt Company
4.The Mending Shed
5. Allied Systems (dollor store sales)

5 Things people don't know about me:
1. My family is all messed up. My parents are divorced, and both remarried. So, for siblings, I have two blood sisters, and one blood brother. I have four step brothers, and one step sister.
I have three half brothers, and three half sisters. Yes, that makes 14 siblings for me...I told you it was a mess.
P.S. that is just my immediate family... in the extended it gets worse...
2. I am scared of the dark....but usually only when I am alone
3. I am addicted to shopping. There was a time in my life when I bought a new shirt every day...pretty bad I know.
4. I love being a mom. I know, I was the girl who never wanted kids...but I love it...that is a subject for another post though.
5. My best friends are my family. I love all my friends...but there is something about my brothers, sisters, parents, brother in-laws, sister in-laws, and most importantly my husband Nick, and my baby Abey! I love them! maybe you all know that already...but it doesn't hurt to put it down.

I now tag: Rachel, Cynthia, Kelsey, Missy, and Tiana (get a blog)!

WE'RE BACK!

I am finally home, and feeling normal enough to post. It was a wonderful trip to Florida and I will post pics soon. Baby Abey has had a rough time adjusting back to normal life. He hasn't been napping well and he gets bored easy with just Mom to entertain him. I guess having a whole week of Mom, Dad, Granny, Grandpa, and three doting uncles, who want nothing more than to make you happy, going back to a real life would be hard on a little guy. Well, I will post more later, I just wanted to do something, before people start accusing me of never posting!
Love to you all!

Our Trip To Colorado

I mean Wyoming....

Nick was asked by his sister Marcie to come to Colorado, and build a bathroom for her in their basement. Craig was coming along for a "visit", but was going to help out too. Abe and I really were just coming along for the visit. So, Sunday, we started out our trip in hopes that the weather would be good enough for us to make it all the way to Colorado. We were stopped short, and ended up staying the night in Rock Springs, Wyoming, due to I-80 road closures.

We stayed at a nice little motel, and tried to enjoy ourselves despite the delay.

The next day the roads opened up again at 9:30 a.m. We jumped in the car and were on our way again. Sadly 2 hours later when we reached Rawlins, Wyoming, they were closed again. We sat on the freeway for an hour or two while they got everyone off of the freeway, at the closest exit. So after that, we drove around for awhile, had some lunch, drove some more, all in hopes that the road would open again. (later we found out that the roads were only open for fifteen minutes and someone had gotten in an accident so they closed them again.)

While driving around Rawlins, we saw this herd of deer standing in someone's lawn. I don't think I had ever been so close to one deer, let alone that many deer.

Abe did pretty well, considering we were pretty much in the car for two days straight. Alot of sleeping, but since I sat right next to him, we had fun playing together!

All smiles!

At about 4:30 p.m. Monday afternoon we decided to head for home. There was no where for us to stay in Rawlins, all the hotels were booked, and we didn't want to waste another day "trying" to get there and not being able to. Sad we didn't make it to Marcie's. We were all really looking forward to spending the week with her and her family. We will have to try again in a month or so, when the weather isn't so unpredictable.
