In January We....

Took a road trip to Arizona with my sister Tiana. It was awesome! 2 ladies, 4 kiddos, and 12 hours in the car! I don't have many pictures of the car trip, but we did get to take a favorite of mine! All of our kids at my favorite rest stop/ gas station in Beaver :)Aren't they so cute!while in Arizona we visited the Mesa Temple visitors center. It was fun, but....playing on the lawn out front Abe thought was more fun :)
plus it was super warm out ;)Ezra cut his first 2 teeth while we were there...I think this was as happy as he got!We did some shopping at the outlets, and got Abe and Sariah new sunglassesthey are such good lil' posersand, on the last day of our week long adventure, we let it be superman and supergirl day!! funny that these kids are growing up a whole state apart, and yet they are so similar.
Their mom's must be sisters!

Finishing up 2010

So, I am a slacker...I guess I like to update my blog a quarter of the year at a time :)

Here is Halloween. We had a family theme. Abe really wanted to be superman, so we chose our costumes around that. If you can't tell, Nick is clark Kent, Tallie is Lois Lane, and Ezra is Lex Luther. We had a lot of fun this year!
Next Up is Abe's birthday! He turned 3 this year, and HAD to have a superman party. It was fun, with only a few of his best friends. I maybe went a little over board, but it was soooo much fun...since I love superman too!

Isn't he so cute! I just love this little guy!

We don't have any pictures of Nick's birthday, or Thanksgiving, which means we skip straight into...
Christmas!
Aren't they so cute in their christmas jammies!Christmas morning all of us piled into our bed! I loved it...It reminded me of when I was a kid. All my siblings and I would sleep in the same room...most of us in the same bed! There were a lot of presents, but I think the best ones of the day were our new nerf guns! We spent all afternoon playing a family nerf war! (of coarse while Ezra was alseep) We ended our day at the movies as a family! Abe loved the movies, and still asks to go back.
The very next day was my brother Paul's mission farewell. We were able to sing in church as siblings again, which we haven't done in years! I love being related to such talented people! He entered the MTC Dec. 29th, and made his way to Sweden a week ago! I miss him terribly, and Abe misses him more! We talk alot about missionaries, and what they do, and how he can be one when he gets older! In return, Abe talks alot about when "he is 5 Uncle Paul will come home, and take him on a mission"...he doesn't quite get it yet! ;)

We miss you Paul! LOTS OF LOVE!

I have been a bad blogger :(

I went to a Halloween party this last week, and got to see a good friend of mine who recently moved back to town. She asked me how it was going with two children. I confessed, it has been horrific. And she says, "but Tallie I read your blog, and I think, 'wow she has it all together'". That couldn't be more from the truth! I have been so deep in the trenches of dailly living, that I couldn't even surface to blog. I've been a bad friend, a bad mom, sister, daughter, You name it, I am bad at it right now. So I wanted to post something today that was 100% me, no fluff :)

I was just sitting here watching Ezra play, and thinking. I thought about how I can't wait till this is over, and I am not so constantly inundated with all things children. I thought about how much I hate potty training. I thought about how much I hate fighting with Abe. I thought about how much I love my sleep, and it seems like I will never have that back. I thought about how by the time I am 50, I will hopefully be a grandma. I thought about all the reasons I waited till I was 25 to have Abe, and why I think all of those are stupid now. I thought about Nick being 29 this month, and I thought about how maybe I would have had more kids, if we had started sooner.

And then as I was still watching my baby, I thought, WHY CAN'T I FREEZE TIME! All I want to do is hold these two little boys close to me forever. I don't want them to grow up, learn to drive, go away for two years, marry some girl, and be gone forever. I want them as they are right now, forever. I love their cute little faces, and I love that I am their mom.

Thoughts

30 Days...Yes, only 30 days left. one month. 4 weeks and 2 days. Am I really ready to be a mother of two boys? I don't know. I do know that there is no going back now! And I can't wait to meet this little guy. He's dropped, and now with more room, he is more rambunctious than ever!

We have all of his laundry done, bed made, and Abe's suitcase is packed. My suitcase is going to be packed this week, so really Baby Brother can come anytime. I am hoping to get at least a few of my lamaze classes before he comes. But, due to a scheduling conflict they pushed my class back and they now start tomorrow.

I just can't believe that this long pregnancy journey is about to be over, and a new Boy filled journey will begin!

P.S. A quick shout out to my brother Kent and his wife Cynthia! Congrats on Baby Dragon Hunter arriving today! We are so excited to meet Abe's newest cousin! I can only imagine all the trouble these summer babies are going to get into in the next several years! LOVE YOU GUYS!
