Thoughts

30 Days...Yes, only 30 days left. one month. 4 weeks and 2 days. Am I really ready to be a mother of two boys? I don't know. I do know that there is no going back now! And I can't wait to meet this little guy. He's dropped, and now with more room, he is more rambunctious than ever!

We have all of his laundry done, bed made, and Abe's suitcase is packed. My suitcase is going to be packed this week, so really Baby Brother can come anytime. I am hoping to get at least a few of my lamaze classes before he comes. But, due to a scheduling conflict they pushed my class back and they now start tomorrow.

I just can't believe that this long pregnancy journey is about to be over, and a new Boy filled journey will begin!

P.S. A quick shout out to my brother Kent and his wife Cynthia! Congrats on Baby Dragon Hunter arriving today! We are so excited to meet Abe's newest cousin! I can only imagine all the trouble these summer babies are going to get into in the next several years! LOVE YOU GUYS!

Prego Gals

At this moment, I am not the only one pregnant! Several friends and family members are sharing this wonderful journey with me! Including these three lovely ladies! My three sister in-laws and I agreed to pose for a pic. I thought they looked too cute not to share!
Left to right: Cynthia due May 13, Tallie due June 2, Sarah due July 4, and Julie due July 17.

Also, at my Dr.s Appt. yesterday, I am measuring a week and a half early. So if I choose, I can schedule my induction on my due date! That means only 7 more weeks FOR SURE!! YEA!!

Winter

We had a decent winter. No one was deathly ill, (except for Tallie being pregnant!),
and we really tried to enjoy our little family of 3 while it lasts!
Abe got to play alot with Dad! Making snowmen, going sledding, working on things!
Those two had a great time!

We were able to attend several family and friend get togethers over the Holidays, including a very elegent girls night out put on by my good friend Lisa Williams!
She did a wonderful job!

Christmas was fun! Abe was IN LOVE the second he saw his tool bench!
It was the best present he could have ever gotten!

Except maybe a gingerbread house! LOL!
What a face!
We tried to get out and do things, mostly eat! LOL!
But, we mostly stayed inside alot, and Mom stayed on the couch alot.
So Abe just tried to keep himself busy, and wait for SPRING!
I think that gets me all caught up!
Sadly I didn't take that many pictures this fall and winter, so this is all you get!
I'll try and do better this spring!
LOVES to you all!

Catch up...

Here is a quick recap of our fall of 2009.

FIRST:
We went to Lake Powell with the Palmer Family in October
Dustin rented a house boat for the whole family! It was a blast!

Nick did most of the driving

Here's Abe looking like a little man in his towel! Too cute not to include!

And Abe's Favorite sleeping spot!
I guess the motion of the boat just overtook the little guy!

Our little fam at Rainbow bridge! It was a great trip!

SECOND:
Abe Turned two on Thanksgiving Day this year!
And He got a scooter!
He's so excited that the weather is getting warmer...He hopes his mom will actually let him ride it outside! The only set back is that once it goes outside, he can NEVER ride it inside again!

THIRD:
Last, but certainly not least,
Nick turned 28 on the 29th of November!
(Next year it'll be his golden birthday, It's going to be a part-ay!!) We are so happy he is the Daddy to our Family!

That was our Fall...Next up Winter!

What we've been up to....

I know it has been forever since I posted on this blog of mine! Some people might even call me a slacker, and they'd be right! Life is good for our little family!

Nick is back working for the Mending Shed, as their in-home repairman. He loves working with his family, and was just extatic when the opportunity arose! He still does house calls for our close friends and family, but they gotta be after hours now...which means we don't see him as much as we would like! He also is the YM secretary, and loves working with the awesome boys in our ward. It seems like Nick is always on the go, and this has been difficult for our Abe... The last month or so, he has been having nightmares about Nick not being around. He wakes up in the night crying out, " Daddy, don't go, come back!" It breaks my heart every time... Hopefully it's just a phase, and he'll soon outgrow it!

Abe is just as crazy as ever. I can't seem to keep up with him. He's a smarty pants, and thinks it's funny to sass his mom. He also runs the opposite direction whenever I call him. I have to keep reminding myself that he is only 2... He loves to jump off everything, while shouting "To Infinity and Beyond!" He loves his grandparents, and asks to go see them constantly! I think its nice that he is building such strong relationships with them. He feels the need to "fix" everything, so he gets out his tools and goes to work. I think Nick has been such a good influence on our son, he loves to work already! I could go on about him forever, he is so much fun, and such a stinker all at the same time! We love having him in our lives!

That brings us to me... I am 28 weeks, and still just as sick as ever. Abe has asked me everyday this week, " Mom, don't be sick today, ok? Don't throw-up, ok?" I feel bad, that I am not the mom that he wants right now, but I can only do so much. The last week or so, I have been having contractions if I do too much...we are praying that they are just braxton hicks, but I am still taking it easy, just in case. My next dr.'s is in a week, so I'll talk to him about it then. I don't go out much, or really do anything, which means I don't see many of you, and I am sorry about that. But, like my Dad says, this never came to stay, it only came to pass. Hopefully the next 12 weeks will fly by, and I will start feeling like myself shortly after Baby Brother comes home!

We hope that you still consider us your friends, even if you haven't heard from us in awhile. We miss our social lives, and realize that we have become a little out of it these days. We still love all of you, and pray that you are doing well with all that you are doing! We hope to be in touch soon! In the meantime, I will try and get this blog up to date, and not neglect it like I have been!
Loves to you,
Tallie
