Busy week....

This last week has felt like it went by so fast!! Lets start with wednesday night fun.... After Abraham and I had spent the day at my moms, we decided we needed a little bit of quality Dad time...so we went with Nick to gas up the bus for his weekly trip to Logan Thursday morning. Nick decided it was a good idea to let Abe get a "feel for the wheel". So here he is...
(p.s. The bus is parked, and the engine is off...we were gasing up)

Then is was Thursday!
Our own Elder Hinkson came home from his two year mission in Vina Del Mar Chile!! This is Abraham and Uncle Hugh after they met for the very first time! Hurray Hugh!
We are so happy to have you back home!

Monday was Fair Day!! We like to go to the State Fair every year...We walk around and see the animals, we eat carnival food, (a.k.a. Funnel cake, and Foot long corn dogs!!) We walk through all the market places, and pretty much see what there is to see! It is always a good time! I am pretty mad at myself...I should have had my camera out the whole time, but instead you get two pics...Abe on the bus getting ready to make the trip up to Salk Lake, and then Nick and Abe in front of a pretty cool tractor! LOL...I know they are pretty lame for a trip to the fair...but I guess there can always be better pics next year!

Last but not least...WALKING!!!!

Thursday Abe took his VERY FIRST STEP!!! It was only one, and it was form the love seat to the couch..but a step is a step! I am counting it....Walking on 9/4/08. Then, Monday at lunch time, he took 3 steps to Nick. Today we went straight out and bought this awesome little fisher price lion that is soooo cute! Abe walks everywhere with it! We have had one casualty already though...he fell while pushing and bonked his face and head pretty hard. A little goose egg, and a puffy eye, with a scrape. He was pretty tired when that happened, and never fully recovered. SAD! He went down for a nap shortly after that..or else I would have gotten a pic of his battle wounds, lol! I think this is going to be a long road to smooth sailing, but at least we are on our way!!!

Our Bear Lake Trip

Last weekend we went to Bear Lake/ Paris, Idaho with The Palmer family. It was so much fun!

First, this is the house where Ellen,(Nick's Mom), grew up.
She is the reason we go to Paris!

This is where we stayed...The Bear Lake Hermitage
It was really nice, and had tons of room for all of us...
let me know if you want any info!

Here is our room, our bed, and then Abe's bed

Finally out....
