I know it has been forever since I posted on this blog of mine! Some people might even call me a slacker, and they'd be right! Life is good for our little family!
Nick is back working for the Mending Shed, as their in-home repairman. He loves working with his family, and was just extatic when the opportunity arose! He still does house calls for our close friends and family, but they gotta be after hours now...which means we don't see him as much as we would like! He also is the YM secretary, and loves working with the awesome boys in our ward. It seems like Nick is always on the go, and this has been difficult for our Abe... The last month or so, he has been having nightmares about Nick not being around. He wakes up in the night crying out, " Daddy, don't go, come back!" It breaks my heart every time... Hopefully it's just a phase, and he'll soon outgrow it!
Abe is just as crazy as ever. I can't seem to keep up with him. He's a smarty pants, and thinks it's funny to sass his mom. He also runs the opposite direction whenever I call him. I have to keep reminding myself that he is only 2... He loves to jump off everything, while shouting "To Infinity and Beyond!" He loves his grandparents, and asks to go see them constantly! I think its nice that he is building such strong relationships with them. He feels the need to "fix" everything, so he gets out his tools and goes to work. I think Nick has been such a good influence on our son, he loves to work already! I could go on about him forever, he is so much fun, and such a stinker all at the same time! We love having him in our lives!
That brings us to me... I am 28 weeks, and still just as sick as ever. Abe has asked me everyday this week, " Mom, don't be sick today, ok? Don't throw-up, ok?" I feel bad, that I am not the mom that he wants right now, but I can only do so much. The last week or so, I have been having contractions if I do too much...we are praying that they are just braxton hicks, but I am still taking it easy, just in case. My next dr.'s is in a week, so I'll talk to him about it then. I don't go out much, or really do anything, which means I don't see many of you, and I am sorry about that. But, like my Dad says, this never came to stay, it only came to pass. Hopefully the next 12 weeks will fly by, and I will start feeling like myself shortly after Baby Brother comes home!
We hope that you still consider us your friends, even if you haven't heard from us in awhile. We miss our social lives, and realize that we have become a little out of it these days. We still love all of you, and pray that you are doing well with all that you are doing! We hope to be in touch soon! In the meantime, I will try and get this blog up to date, and not neglect it like I have been!
Loves to you,
Tallie
